The participants of this year's aac autumn workshop were dealing with architectural interventions in the landscape. The aim was to create points of orientation and resting places on the grounds of the WAI Woods Art Institute in Wentorf near Hamburg, which in their continuity can form a ‘Parcours découverte’. On the one hand, this parcours with newly designed architecture should provide orientation on the site, but also continue to allow spontaneous strolling and discovery of the park with its works of art.

Designs were conceived and developed in internationally composed groups. In addition to tutorials and interim presentations, the workshop was accompanied by a public lecture programme.

The workshop was under the guidance of Dipl.-Ing. Architect Nikolaus Goetze and Dipl.-Ing. Architect Magdalene Weiß.
