Sanne van Manen had been combining practical experience and academic studies during her education at Delft University of Technology by working for the Chief Government Architect in The Hague at the same time. After studies in Delft and Zurich she graduated with honourable mention from the Delft University of Technology in 2010.
Sanne joined MVRDV in 2015 and has been specialising in large high-rise projects in several stages of the design. From early master planning to the final design phases. As a project leader Sanne manages the design of competitions and commissions within international, interdisciplinary design teams. Among others construction of the Valley project has recently been started, and construction at the Grotius towers will start in 2018.
