Prof. Matthias Schuler
Prof. Matthias Schuler – studied mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart. From 1987 to 1992 he was a research assistant at the Institute of Ther-modynamics and Thermal Process Engineering at the University of Stuttgart. In 1992 he founded the company Transsolar with 25 employees – one of the global leading consulting companies in the field of climate engineering. At the start of the winter semester 2008, after seven years as visiting professor, Matthias Schuler took up the newly created professorship for Environmental Technologies at Harvard University, Cambridge, USA.
